internet explorer v 6 - can i regrade to 5.5

Does anyone know if i can remove the upgrade that I have made to Internet Explorer. Having upgraded to IE6, I know find that I am unable to use Outlook and I would like to revert to IE5.5. Is this possible, and if so how do i DO IT

Why would you even consider it? What makes you think IE6 is causing
you to have an Outlook problem? Which "outlook" is it: Office or
Express. This is just a suggestion but why not try describing your
problem as entirely and specifically as you can in the appropriate
groups. Without a detailed description of your problem, it sounds to
me like you are assuming IE6 is the problem and also assuming that
"regrading" will solve your issue. You just could be assuming
incorrectly.

Try posting a detailed description in one or more of the groups
dealing with IE6 and either Outlook Express or Office Outlook.

If you *UPGRADED* to 6 from 5.5 then your OS isn't XP - also your flavour of
IE/OE has nothing whatsoever to do with Outlook, as it's part of Office and
doesn't care what version of IE/OE you have installed.

If you do have, XP you *cannot* install 5.5 as 6 is integrated into the OS.
 
if you have XP you cannot downgrade because IE6 is a part of XP.
However you can download IE6 and reinstall it (there is a service pack
edition of it), perhaps the problem will be fixed
