internet explorer : unwelcome website

when i browse through internet explorer, suddenly
unwelcomed site pops up which takes up the whole screen
space. can't get out of it. ctrl alt delete and close
only that site which causes whole thing to close and i
have to start all over. how can i undo or uninstall this
problem. example (http://luckysearch.net or
globefinder.cc)pops up and there is no way to get out of
it. isn't it illegal or something?

Try one or both of these free "intruder" sleuthers...

http://www.lavasoftusa.com (AdAware)
http://security.kolla.de (SpyBot)

They may unearth the unwanted critter, and give you the option to remove
it from your system.
