The problem that I'm having began about a month ago. I open IE (Internet
Explorer) and connect to the net and begin browsing. After about 20 to 30
later out of nowhere it tells me "this page is unnavailable". So i try
different websites but same thing. I know that it is not the connection
because I can still use msn messenger even when IE stops working. After I
close IE and disconnect I tried to open IE again but it then freezes the
computer (freezes explorer.exe). So I go to task manager and manually close
down IE (IExplorer.exe) and then I have to close down explorer (explorer.exe
[not IE]) and then restart explorer. If I shut down the computer and then
trun it back on again it will work for another 30 minutes. So I try to narrow
the problem down even further. I turn off the firewall and same problem.
After that I downloaded IE 7 and installed that. I didn't have the problem
for the first couple of days but then it came back. I have done all I can.
Thanks for your help. Nick

I would guess it's a malware infection.
