Machine. There is nothing writen to the event log. It's just gone, about
once an hour, with no real rhythm or reason. Anyone have any idea on this one?

Apparently you haven't run the right anti-spyware to catch the one causing
the problem

Or try an online virus check:

(requires Java)

Which spyware tooll did you used? Remember that there is no single tool,
which can detect all possible spyware. Best tool can detect about 75%. And
there is new spyware coming each day.

Try also different web browser like Firefox. If it works, you propably have
some spyware and need more spyware scanners. Sad but true.

Honestly, are you folks ALL IN THE SPYWARE DETECTION business? <grin> It
seems to be the answer that you post to every issue. Yes, I have multiple
spyware detectors. Adaware, spyassassin, etc. Yes, I have virus software,
it's up to date.
