internet explorer shutting down

getting a msg box saying IE has encountered a problem and
will need to shut down. I don't get the msg all the time
and not on any particular web page. Anybody have any
suggestions??

I am getting the same problem and it just started out of

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).

If still no joy click the details button that will give you an error message

Sounds like a virus or spyware Try Lavasofts adaware ver 6. It's free. Also
try a virus scan with a up to date pattern file.
