Internet Explorer Security Hole

have recently installed and run Spybot and it gives me 5 DSO Exploits, i
remove them and they continually come back... they all involve Registry
changes/Internet Settings... can i remove them permanently through my
registry and how would i block this hole and stop it from happening again...
all are in the HKEY_USERS category... any help would be appreciated as i
have no idea what i am doing.... have WinXP Home and up to date including
the IE Cumulative Security Update for IE for WinXP SP2 (KB834707) - thanx
 
Make sure that you have all the latest Windows XP Critical Updates.

Make sure that you have the latest updated version of Spybot - S & D.
Click Help | About in Spybot - S & D.
Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.3.0.12
Latest detection update: 2004-10-26

Hi Susan,

The 5 instances of DSO exploit are an indication of a flaw in Spybot. It is
a known issue that the people at Spybot are supposed to be working on and
expect to have a solution to "soon". It is nothing that will harm your
system and you can cause Spybot to ignore them. You can get the same
information by entering "DSO exploit" in a Google search.
