Recently I had downloaded a trojan of some sort, so I was
getting a lot of pop-ups. I got rid of the trojan and pop-
ups, but one thing that did not go away was the search
page set to http://search.xrenoder.com/?trk=gfg. Sometimes
when I enter an address that this search engine does not
recognize, browser connects to this server and creates a
homepage that I did not request, and also downloads
automatically a trojan. Does anybody know if I can change
the search page to default? Thanks a lot

HI Art - SpyBot S&D should remove this parasite:

SpyBot Search and Destroy available here: http://security.kolla.de/ SpyBot
Support Forum here:
http://www.net-integration.net/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi. After fixing
things with SpyBot S&D, be sure to re-boot and rerun SpyBot again and repeat
this cycle until you get a clean "no red" scan. The reason is that SpyBot
sometimes has to remove things which are currently "in use" before it can
then clean up others.
