Internet explorer script errors

I'm receiving messages of script errors at different
times. Not only do I receive them in IE6 but also when
trying to run a setup program for software. The
installation cannot proceed because the icons will not
display. Is there a script fix that I don't know about?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Help us help you. Post the exact error message and tell us what you are
doing when you do get them.

Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"

If no joy then check with McAfee.
