Hey all! I don't know if I'm in the right forum to post
this question...but here goes anyhow.

Whenever I access my Folders in Windows 98 SE, I get a pop
up box/message stating as follows:

INTERNET EXPLORER SCRIPT ERROR
An error has occured in the script on this page.
Line:1
Char:1
Error:Object required: "FSO"
Code:O
URL:file//c:\windows\web\folder.htt
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
Yes/No.

I select No, the message box goes away and then I notice
the Folder Icon appears in the top left hand corner above
the title on the Folder I'm in. If I go out of the Folder
and go back in, the message box pops up again, same
message, etc.
Yes, this is occuring when my Folders are in "web page"
mode. The message box doesn't appear if I change the view
by unticking the "as a Web page" in the View options.

So unless I go through and untick each folder so I don't
view them as a web page, I'm continually getting followed
around by this message box every time I open a Folder in
Windows.

HELLLLP! I'm pretty basic when it comes to computer
knowledge, so I'm counting on the experiance of those in
this Forum to assist. It's probably something simple as (I
hope)designed to expose my ignorance in all things PC.
That's OK, I'll never know if I don't ask. I've tried all
my limited knowledge on PC's will allow...but it's come to
this. Ha!

Thanks in advance guy's n' gal's. Much appreciated.

Every folder that you have customized will have a .htt file.
Search your HD for *.htt

You probably have some corrupted files in the \web folder and it's causing
this error.
