I frequently get this error, especially in my help and maintence area, it says the folowing

An error has occurred in the script on this pag
Line: 49
Char:1
Error: 'xmldoc.documentEleement' is null or not an objec
Code:
URL- ms
its:C\:WINDOWS\Help\hs.chm:/hs_performance_maintenance.ht
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Y/

I hit yes or no and the error just pops right back up again. This seems to have started when I upgraded my XP Home to XP Pro

Any ideas?

Unless you want to do freelance script debugging.........

Open IE | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab |
CHECK:
 Disable script debugging
[Specifies whether you want to turn off your script debugger, if one is
installed. Script debuggers are used by Web site developers to test programs
and scripts on their Web pages.]
UNCheck:
 Display a notification about every script error
[Specifies whether to display the actual script errors when a page does not
appear properly due to problems with its scripting. This feature is off by
default, but is useful to developers when testing Web pages.]
Apply | OK

Hi Wes, I went to those two boxes you mentioned and they were already checked and unchecked

Any other thoughts

Rob;

Well, Ramesh - Microsoft MVP had this advice for another post.

==============================
In addition to Wesley's advice:

If the script error occurs on all pages, refresh your scripting engine:

Well I installed the third option. I don't rightly know what it is, but we'll see if it does any good. This is the type of error that I will have to wait and see if it goes away.
