I have a computer (Win XP SP2) that is displaying the following error message
when I try to print from Outlook 2002 or internet explorer 6.

Internet Explorer Script Error
Line 227
Res://C:\Windows\System32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

I have tried doing the following with no result:

-Reinstalling windows 5.6 script engine from MSDN.
-Disabling script debugging in internet explorer in the tools - option
advance tab (played around with this and other settings).
-Clearing the enable third – party browser extension (requires restarts)
checkbox in the internet options advance tab.
-Running spysweeper. (just some cookies)
-Running the Antivirus. (clean)
-The computer has the most recent software updates by Microsoft.
-Disabling the windows firewall.
-Doing a repair of the office XP professional 2002 through control panel.
-Restarting numerous times. Logging in as administrator, normal user, and
the problem continues.

Open outlook or internet explorer

Go to file

Print

Error message….

I can print from Microsoft word or any other application. Has anyone come
across this problem? Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Try this (IE/OE closed).
Start -> Run -> Type "regsvr32 ole32.dll" (without quotes) in the box -> Ok.

Thanks Vincenzo for your quick response. I actually tried to re-registered
the .dll that you mentioned but that did not help. The .dll that actually
fixed my problem was actxprxy.dll

Thank you once again!
