InterNet Explorer Question..??

Can some tell me why on about 1/2 the websites I visit (banking,
CNN, FOX) I have to stop, refresh, before the website actually
loads..Is there a setting I may have screwed up, or is it my
provider..?? (Verizon DSL)

Goto: Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Settings
What is selected for "Check for newer versions of stored pages:"?

Its set for automatic...
 
"Automatically" should work OK. You might try changing it to "Every visit to
the page" to make sure you always get the most current page for frequently
visited sites. You might also try emptying your Temporary Internet Files
folder if you haven't already done that.
