Hi all
I am using Interent Explorer with all of the updates and Windows XP Home.
When I restart the computer I can not use the web, this is fixed by going to
Tools-> Internet Options -> Connections-> LAN Settings-> and then unticking
the box that says to use Proxy server. Once I have done this I can use the
web until I restart the computer again and I have to repeat the steps above.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks .
Mark

Within the same dialog (Connections), choose the 'setup...' option. Then go
through, checking the appropriate choices (followed by 'next'), then
'finish'.

Hi all.
I just worked out that it was a program called Ghostsurf that was making the
changes after startup, I disabled the program and the problem is fixed.
Thanks again
