Hi All,

When I try to access internet using IE, it doesn't do
anything. It doesn't display any error message or even I
can not go in Internet Options using browser. On the same
computer if I try to access internet using AOL, it works.
Though I can not have access to any other web-site using
AOL.

If I want to uninstall IE and then install...How to do
that?...Because from Add/Remove Programs, if i try to
remove IE it doesn't let me uninstall - it just gives me
option to Repair or Add a component. But it won't let me
uninstall IE totally.

The computer is Windows NT workstation.

Because IE is now such an integral part of Windows it can't be removed
without causing problems for other programs.

First check the properties of your shortcuts to IE. Right click on the icon
and select the Properties menu option. They should be pointing to
IExplore.exe and be run in a Normal window (perhaps the run value has been
set to 'Minimized Window' which prevents you from noticing that it has
loaded)

Second off try the Repair option for Internet Explorer in the Add\Remove
Programs control panel.

Third make sure that some other program isn't causing problems for IE... On
the Control Panel, select the Internet Options applet and on the Advanced
tab you will find an option to 'Disable 3rd party Browser Helpers'. Disable
them and save your changes and try restarting IE.

If these suggestions don't work then repost to this thread as someone will
eventually help you.

As a very last resort use the AOL browser instead of IE.
