Windows XP Internet Explorer playin silly buggers

Everytime I click the X in the top right corner or click close. It shows me a quick flash of a next Web Site. Can any one help me and tell me what is goin on???
 
bit more of a description would help, not too sure what you mean but the tool below should sort it.

Sounds like an attempted pop-up to me. Does it happen every single time or only at certain web-sites?

And yes, as Techy suggested, install Adaware and maybe Spybot Search & Destroy as well, you may have some Adware in there attempting to log you in where you really don't want to go.
 
Its happens most of the time like 98%. I already got Adware and Spy Sweeper installed and there are run everyday. In the address part when this page comes up it says about:blank and I tryed to change my homepage as it was set on about:blank but when I turn of Internet Explorer and turn it back on its changed back. And the title in the toolbar along the top of the webpage is Search for...
 
You definitely have Adware of some type in there.

Try Spybot (latest version is Here ).

You could also start in safemode and look for any suspect folders and delete them if necessary but be careful, only delete what you're sure about.
 
I think I fixed the problem as I uninstalled some Pop-up blocker. It no longer happens. Thankz for your help.
