Internet Explorer PDF issue

Hi:

XP with INternet Explorer. For some reason when I want to look at a PDF file from the web,
the file downloads and then the main screen goes blank. the PDF does not show. It works
fine in Firefox, but there is some setting mess up in Explorer.

The trouble is I cant find the setting, Can anyone help?

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. Downloaded latest version of
Acrobat Reader, then uninstalled old one before installing new. Problem
went away, though I can't claim it is an elegant way to fix it.
 
Try this and see if it helps. In Acrobat Reader go to
Edit/Preferences/Internet/ and uncheck "Display PDF In Browser".

Or, instead of clicking the .PDF link, right click it and download the .PDF
to a place of your choosing. Then open the .PDF file.
