I know this is Spyware or Malware or something, but none of the programs I've
run to try to detect it sees anything.
I'm running Windows Vista SP1 and IE 8. The problem was on IE7 too and I
was hoping that when I upgraded to the beta that maybe whatever it was would
be unattached..but it followed the upgrade.
Once a day, the first time you turn on the computer and sign in, after about
1-5 minutes, a square internet explorer bow will pop up with all borders
removed (can't close it or see address bar or anything). the page that is on
there is the "Cannot find page" error page and I viewed source and other
things and it is ACTUALLY the error page located locally on my computer, so
it isn't a spoof page. I can't see any network traffic being broacast during
this time nor do I see any special processes running. And none of the virus
scanner or spyware scanners or anything that I have run detects anything.
Please help me if you know what the problem is and how to fix it.
Thank you!!!!!!
