Internet Explorer on XP

I purchased my computer about a year and 1/2 ago. Until
now I have not have a problem. I use a DSL line. Problem
is that my connection keeps disappearing. If I reload
everything, my internet connections works for a day or
two. Then when I turn my computer back on, Internet
Explorer says it can't find a connection. The only way so
far to correct the problem is to reload. Can someone tell
me what is goinig on??
 
Instead of reloading xp have you tried just unplugging your DSL modem for a
few minutes and then plugging it back in? I have had this type of problem
with my cable modem, it will loose the connection and has to be rebooted. If
that works try getting the latest firmware upgrade for your dsl.
