Internet Explorer not finding most recent web page

I'm running IE 6 with SP2. I've noticed that it is not downloading the most
recent web page. I have tried changing the temporary internet files settings
and it doesn't matter whether I have it set to every visit to the page or
automatically, it still doesn't get the latest version of the page. I know
this to be true becuase I am in the process of amending some web pages and I
can't view the new pages. I have checked that they have uploaded
successfully by getting a friend to view the pages. I have also searched the
knowledge base but can't find an answer.

Does anybody out there know what the problem is and can offer a solution?

Have you actually cleaned out your browser cache and windows temp files?

Hi Tom

I deleted all temporary windows files yesterday and I've just done it again,
but still it doesn't work. I'm not sure about cleaning out the browser
cache, can you tell me how to do it?

Could be that your host/ISP caches web pages for a particular period of
time. Check with them.
