Internet Explorer - New Search Toolbar?

Every once in a while I get a pop-up that states "Your Internet Explorer
(TM) has been upgraded with the latest Search Toolbar from Web Search. Do
you want to keep it? YES (Recommended). No.

Is this a legitimate pop-up from Microsoft? I have repeatedly answered 'No',
but it comes back every few days. TIA.

Use one of these tools to search for "intruders"...

http://www.lavasoftusa.com (AdAware)
http://security.kolla.de (SpyBot)

They will give you the option to delete unwanted guests that they find.
