Whenever I try to open up internet explorer it always says
that the page cannont be displayed and anything that has to
do with internet explorer says the samething. I
reinstalled it after I was having problems with it always
closing on me randomly, but atleast then it worked, now I
can't get into anything. So I'm thinking that I need to
make some adjustments on the settings so it works properly
and my brother used to always to the computer stuff but I
can't get in contact with him anymore so I have to fix this
myself. So if anyone can help me with this problem please
post here or email me, I have cable if that has anything to
do with it.

dude i get the same problem after formatting and re-
installing, i cant show up most sites but i can show up
google and simple sites. i assume its something with the
timew out, is there anyway i could increase it? oh and
mate with ur problem, try this... go to "Tools ¬ Internet
Options ¬ Connections ¬ LAN settings" and then click "
Automatically Detect Settings" this should work because i
assume u do not run a proxy which on some XP's the
installation starts with. hope you sort it..NOW SOMEONE
PLEASE HELP ME :_(
