If you're using Outlook Express for e-mail, go to Tools, select Options, go
to the Security tab, remove the check from "Do not allow attachments to be
saved or opened that could potentially be a virus," click apply and ok.
If you are talking about webmail through, this isn't an XP issue, it may be
related to security your ISP or webmail host is applying or some security
software on your system.
