Internet explorer issues

Just today...I have been trying to log on to the internet -
via MSN.com home page...and my computer keeps giving me
the following: "Iexplorer has generated errors and will be
closed by windows. You may need to restart Windows. An
error log has been created." Please help. What is doing
this? How can I fix it?

Is your Windows installation up to date?
Otherwise run Windows Update:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

If it still doesn't work, or you can't even open the Windows
Update site, try to repair Windows, as follows:
- put the Windows 2000 CD in your CD drive
- wait for the Windows 2000 splash screen
- close the splash screen
- Start>Run>type: sfc /scannow (with a space after sfc) and
click OK
