Internet Explorer (Internet Options)

I had the Worm virus and installed the patch. After that I
have not been able to use IE, so I tried to install it via
my XP Pro disc and the Internet Optin dialogue box does
not display under the tools Option. I can not use IE at
all to browse the web. Can someone please help.
