internet explorer instalation

when i try to instail internet explorer i get message a newer version already
instaled and insterlation shuts down. i have searched computer and no results
are found. how do i solve non-instelstion.

Many Internet Explorer problems can be resolved without reinstalling IE.
What problems are you having?

Which version of IE are you running (IE> Help> About- example... Version
6.0.2900.2180)

What version of IE are you trying to install?
On what version of Windows?
 
Did you uninstall any previous version of IE7? You must do that.
