internet explorer incorrect path

when I open my Internet Explorer I get an error messaage:
cannot find file:///c:/windows/system/ms7531.html

How can i correct this file. and where do i got to
correct it??

Try this:


IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

Find the file ms7531.html and rename it oldms7531

Run MSCONFIG from the Start/Run applet
Look under StartUp and System.INI file for any references to that file and
remove it.

Run REGEDIT from the Start/Run applet and search for the file reference in
the registry.
Remove it.
