internet explorer image saving

hi, i'm currently using win xp wif IE6. currently i'm
having a prob of unable to save images fr the net. when i
click on to "save as" it only allows me to save in bitmap
format, whereas usually it suppose to be save in jpeg
format.
can u help me in tis??

Your temp space in IE is probabably full. In IE, Menu: Tools/Internet
Options Tab: General, and see there buttons to clear out.

Internet images are many times tiff jpg jpeg shtml or html.
though I don't know for sure I'm thinking this is to keep
people from using them easily.
There is a program that will convert these images to what
format you desire to save them in. or you may have a
program that will do it already. try coping them and
pasting them into word, or the wang imaging program
furnished by windows.
I-photo plus is such a program.
