internet explorer home page

Somehow while visiting a web site,I now have a home page
that I ca'nt remove.It is a search engine spam page,that
annoys the hell out of me.When I apply my current settings
to save my new home page that I usually use,when I turn
my PC back on,and open Explorer,this page is back on.I'm
having trouble finding where its located to remove it?
 
Dumb answer, but did you apply the change?

You may have something in your startup folder, check that
if you still have trouble

You've likely been hijacked by spyware. Download Spybot Search and Destroy
or Adaware.

Hi try this go in to my computer/c:\ drive/program files
have a look for any folders under Dialers there shoud be
none if there is remove them also have a look in add or
remove progame you may find it there also go to start/all
programs it could be at the top of that page if not go to
the windows file in c drive and have a look in there

Once IE is opened, choose TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS. At
the top you'll see the home page line, delete what has
been written there and load your desired start page with
the correct URL language(ie) Http:// or www.whatever and
then hit apply and OK.

Shut down IE and restart it. You should be ok.
 
You're probably loaded w/spyware. Go to download.com and
get SPYBOT Search&Destroy. It'll take care of it for you
(and it's free)

have exactly the same problem except that i have been to
spybot, searched AND destroyed, and still cant get my
browser back. i am desperate for help. been at this
about 8 days. cant get any help.
