A serious problem. IE 6.0.2800.1106 in Windows XP won't open Google,
Micosoft and several other webpages. Windows Update is hereby effectively
disabled.
Also the settings have been blocked too. If I try the menu option
Tools->Internet Options->Advanced the options are all blocked.
Behind every option it now shows -ON or -OFF to indicate the setting.
I use two virusscanners and I have used every adware and spyware removal
program possible but nothing helps. The problem
has now spread to another computer in my network after a couple of weeks.
This must be a specific IE problem because Firebird works fine but I prefer
IE. Can anybody help?
