Help. I receive the msg "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close", routinely. The error signature info is app name iexplore.exe; appversion 6.0.2800.1106;module name mshtml.dll; module version 6.0.2800.1276; offset 000dd472. What do I do?

Hi,
Try this...
From IE> Tools> Internet Options...
or
Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Enable third party
browser extensions."

If IE then functions, go to http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm and
start working through the solutions.

Browser extensions can be re-enabled after cleanup.
