Something must have happened to my Internet Explorer
because now the icon has some discolor to it in the
background as the icon and I read somewhere that it means
something is wrong with it but I can't find out what it
means. How do I fix this problem? I have Windows XP so
I can't repair Internet Explorer since its not listed in
the Add/Remove programs list. Please help me out, thanks!

HELLO!! I need a reply to my support request, not be
ignored like this! You shouldn't pick which ones to
answer and which ones not to, that's not right at all!
Other people probably aren't happy when you don't answer
their questions or problems either, some support you give
Microsoft!

Jeff:

1. The MS newsgroups are *not* official MS support sites. We're all
volunteers here and many of us only "drop by" occasionally. Be patient: A
day or two before getting any replies is not unusual.

2. Want your questions answered? Help us help you and make a good post:

3a. Reinstall or *Repair* Internet Explorer or Outlook Express

[this KB article is frequently posted here BTW]

As a general rule, I choose not to answer messages if I do not know the
answer. This seems to be a reasonable rule to me. As near as I can figure
out from your description, I do not know the answer.
