Internet explorer hanging

Every computer (xp Pro) on the network is having problems with IE hanging. We
can go to any site but most do not complete downloading and hang forever with
no errors. Fire fox works fine on the same computers at the same time. Any
clue?

Difficult to answer; check LAN settings in IE - if proxy is disabled, enable
and vice versa. Also, 'automatically detect settings' can be problematic.
There may even be a server side misconfiguration.
