I am on dial up mwith a PC. Each time I use my Internet
Explorer my entire system freezes from 1 to 20 minutes in
use. it only happens when i am connected. If I take my
PC to work (fiber) it works fine. Any ideas?

Blessings,

Hi,

Here is the cause: This can happen because of the
incorrect settings in Internet explorer.

In order to resolve the issue, I would suggest you to
Optimize the Internet Explorer Settings:

Note: Steps for IE6

1. Start Internet Explorer , Click 'Tools' tab in the
Menu bar
(To Start Internet Explorer click on the big blue 'e'
icon on your desktop. If you could not find the big
blue 'e' icon, then click on 'Start' button on the bottom
left corner of your computer and select Run. Type
iexplore in the run box and click on Ok.)
2. Click on 'Internet Options' from the drop-down 'Tools'
tab.
3. Under the 'General' tab, click 'Delete Cookies'
button in the Temporary Internet Files section.
4. When asked to confirm, click OK.
5. Click 'Clear History'.
6. When asked to confirm, click OK.
7. Click 'Delete Files' button.
8. Select the Delete all offline content check box, and
then click OK.
9. Click 'Settings'.
10. Adjust The amount of disk space to use to 10 MB.
11. Click View Files.
12. When the View Files window appears, press CTRL+A to
select all files, and then press DELETE.
13. When asked to confirm, click Yes, and then close the
window.
14. Click OK to close the Settings dialog box.
15. Click the Security tab.
16. Click the Internet icon.
17. Click the Default Level button if available, and then
click Apply.
18. Click the Privacy tab.
19. Click the Edit button. If sites appear under Managed
Web sites: in the Per Site Privacy Actions window, click
Remove All, and then click OK.
20. Click the Default button if available, and then click
Apply.
21. Click the Connections tab.
22. For each item listed under Dial-up and Virtual
Private Network settings, do the following:
a. Select the item (connectoid), and then click
Settings.
b. Clear all of the checkboxes, and then click
OK.
23. Click LAN Settings.
24. Clear all of the checkboxes, and then click OK.
25. Click the Advanced tab.
26. Click Restore Default, and then click OK.

Regards,

Ram.
