Hi,
I have windows xp with sp2, and am wanting to try another
web browser like firefox, does anyone have any
information on this? Sure don't want to mess up my
computer. And if I don't like it, can I change back to
internet explorer?
Thank you
Bonnie

Firefox will not cause any problems. I have used almost every version up to
the present one with no problems.
However, the first time you run Firefox, it will ask you if you want to set
it as your Default browser. If you say YES, then Firefox will open every
time a hyperlink (such as in an email) is clicked. If you say NO, then IE
will remain as the default.
Either way, both browsers are available for use at all times and either can
be set as default as you like anytime.

FF is a lovely browser, you'll not regret it. I've used it on a lot of
systems, and for my clients as well. The only problem I have had once or
twice was doing the data migration from IE into Firefox. You get a
little wizard pop up asking if you want to migrate bookmarks etc. A
couple of times it has hung there when I've said Yes.

I only ever use IE for MS Updates because MS will only talk to MS.

Is there a spybot / adware program that will change all the IE browser lines
back to defaul in the registry?

I have IE, Netscape 7.2, Firefox, Opera & Advanced Browser all in my setup,
none are set as default . Firefox works great , suggest you them all.
Advanced needs IE6, the others are stand alone.
