Julia J.

Can someone tell me how to fix this newfound error? It
happens every time I turn on my machine.

Internet Explorer Script Error
An error has occured in the script of this page
Line: 27
Char: 1
Error: Permission Denied
Code: 0
URL: File://c:\windows\fonts\msoffice.hta
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

I click either Yes or No, but it comes back every time I
turn on my machine. I am running XP.

p.s. checking the debugger in advanced did not affect
changes in any way.

Thank you

I should ask the "office" group even though it appears to
be an Internet Explorer error? why is that?

File://c:\windows\fonts\msoffice.hta refers to Office. It's an hta file
which will run in IE.

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

or

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

Another possibility:
Go to Start | Run ant type
regedit
and press <Enter>. Go to the Startup tab and uncheck anything related to
Office. Restart and if you don't get the error go back and check one of
them. Repeat this process until you find out which entry causes the
problem.
