When I go onto a couple of my favorite sites that I use
constantly, IE sends me the "IE is experiencing an
error" - this has all been happening since I downloaded a
Microsoft patch package.
I have run Spybot, AdAware, and also fixed regsvr32
softpub.dll. Nothing works. I have the firewall turned
off, as well as the virus and automatic updates. Of
course, I can't get the little shield out of the bottom
right corner of the screen so I am sure part of this
program is running somewhere. How do I turn it off? And
what's going on with the websites? (They are not secure
sites necessarily - a sheet music store, a community
orchestra site, etc.)
