Internet explorer crashes

Hello
I have IE 6 ......on OS wondows 2000. over the last few
days anytime i open internet explorer it gives an error.
From today explorer will not open at all . Neither does
windows explorer or control panel etc . it says memory
could not be written . And it gives a long list of the
errors occuring. what do i do now? is there any way to
repair this problem?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
