Internet Explorer Connection Problem

Internet Explorer 'cannot find server' unless I disconnect Nortons Internet
Security. Was working fine until this morning, but now I have to disconnect
security before I can get access to internet. Have reconfigured program
access on firewall but has made no difference. Can anyone help me please?
Still receiving emails ok. Using 98SE and IE6.

Try running Live Update manually and repeatedly until you get the "No
additional updates available" prompt.
