HELP!! I had a major virus problem! You name it and I seem to have had it, Downloader.inservice, Downloader.Agent, Trojan.Small, Trojan.DNS.changer, Trojan.Downloader.Ruins, Trojan.Downloader.NVD, Trojan.Quosts, clicker....to name but a few! God knows how I ended up with them but its taken me a week to hopefully get rid of them! Fingers crossed!

BUT....I am left with the problem that I cannot now access the internet with internet explorer, I cannot update and of my virus/spyware software, I cannot access some websites, I cannot for some reason defrag (not sure if this is related) as I get the certificates page rather than the defrag one? Main problem being the internet explorer one. I have AOL and that is connecting eventually....although sometimes when it first connects it comes up with do i want to connect or work offline (again internet explorer I think)

if anyone can offer any help at all....Thank you!

Edit you post re: your email address!
Does AOL not come with Anti Virus & Firewall Software?
Download CCleaner from here www.ccleaner.com to delete anything else.

Hi Suzanne i'm sure someone will suggest something soon However it will be via this thread.

EDIT crossed over with feckit's post about removing mail address.

I have a firewall...zone alarm, I have spyware doctor, ewido anti spyware, ad aware, spy bot and AVG anti virus, so hopefully that is covered, its the damage they have done which seems to be the problem...can the viruses alter your settings and windows?
