internet explorer cant access secure sites even after uninstallation of npf

Hello,
ever since i downloaded then uninstalled norton personal
firewall i cannot connect to secure sites or anything but
i can browse online if u can please help me with this
email me.
ps- my email address has one xero underscore then the
letter o in case u got confused

I have breowed thru 27 pages of this newsgroup and many
others have same problem. See my repair steps on 8/27
by Robert Casavant . Let me know if they help for you.
