Windows Vista internet explorer cannot display facebook

My IE 8 for this computer cannot display and login to facebook, but every other web page can surf, anyone can tell me how to unistall IE 8, try unsucessful, from new updated software in Add/remove program feature. without uninstall, cannot setup a new IE8

Or opera or a multitude of other web browsers which will probs solve your problem
