Internet Explorer Basic Question

I am having a new problem and don't know how to adjust Internet Explorer options to fix it. Every time I click a hyperlink to go to new page, the new page appears as a mini toolbar that I have to expand to see the full page. How to I revert to be able to see the new page in full without the extra expand window step?
