Every time i open IE6 the automatic update for IE dialog box comes out.
What can i do to stop this.It doesnt happen on all my pc.

Hi Angelo :-)

There is a setting that will allow you to disable the AutoUpdate feature,
which will stop the prompts. However, you will need to do a manual check
for regularly, at least once a week.

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Automatic Updates
Put a check in the box next to "Turn off automatic updating"

Hope this helps :-)

Then I suggest that you repair IE. As you have not yet told us which
version of Windows you are using, I'll provide the repair information for
the various versions and you can pick whichever one works for you.

You will need to uninstall any post IE6-SP1 Win2K SPs before you
uninstall/reinstall IE. You will also have to go to the Windows Update and
reinstall all the necessary updates after the reinstall.

Hope this helps :-)
