internet explorer 8

I downloaded new browser ( IE 8 )and I'm having all sorts of problems...at my
bank site and multiple others. I'm getting a message that the browser is no
longer supported, and they don't support a beta browser. What do I do and how
do I get back what I had before?

Go into the control panel and uninstall it.

add/remove programs

do not fool with Betas in the future
 
IE8 is in BETA and the website where you downloaded it from
has the uninstall instructions listed........go look!!

You couldn't possibly have downloaded IE 8, because IE 8 hasn't been
released.

You might have downloaded IE 8 Beta 2, which is unfinished software
intended for developer testing. I'm not aware of any bank that supports
unfinished software.

To uninstall the unfinished software, go to Add or Remove Programs and
look for Windows Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2. You will be automatically
returned to your previous version of IE.

When IE 8 has been released you can download it at that time. However,
the wise among us wait a few weeks before installing major upgrades to
Windows. We let the early adopters discover the kinks that are to be
expected in a major upgrade, and then wait until Microsoft fixes them.

No, you didn't. IE8 doesn't exist yet. What you downloaded was a beta
version of IE8, and that's very different from IE8 itself.

The nature of all beta software is that it has problems and is not yet
ready for release. That's why your running it is almost always a very
bad choice unless you have an extra machine to play with it on, and
you don't care what happens to that machine.
