Hi,
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium x64 Service Pack 1.
If I install IE8... will it overwrite the IE7 ( and IE7 will become IE8 ) ?
or it will can be used as another browser and IE7 will be fine...

Thank You!

With all good wishes for a brilliant and happy Christmas season, I wish
the
merriest of Christmas to you and your family.
And I wish you happiness and prosperity in the coming year.

IE8 Beta replaces IE7, but if you don't like it, you can uninstall the IE8
Beta update and it will revert to IE7.

IE 8.0 is still in beta and does contain bugs so don't install it unless you
are prepared for some aspects of the application not to work as you expect
them to.

IE 8.0 will replace IE 7.0 on your machine, but you can uninstall IE 8.0 and
then your PC will return to using IE 7.0

If you install the IE8 beta, that's the only version of IE that will
be available to you.

The reason it's a beta test version instead of a released version is
that it still has bugs in it, and Microsoft is looking for beta test
users to inform them of other bugs as they are found,

In my view, unless you have a spare computer to install it on, and
enjoy doing beta testing of software and reporting of bugs to
Microsoft, installing such beta software is just looking for trouble.

Yes, you can install the beta version, but I strongly advise *against*
doing that, and waiting for it to be released.
