i downloaded internet explorer 8 and im trying to switch back to internet
explorer 7 but it won't work

Look for a solution here:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta
 
It should be listed in the Control Panel/Programs and Features/Uninstall
list.
Don't forget to click on, View installed updates.
 
Hi All
I got fed-up with problems with Explorer 8 so i uninstalled it and
then went to the microsoft download site and re-installed Explorer 7 every
thing is now back to normal and ok

Think about what you wrote Shane.
You uninstalled IE8 Beta.
You went to Microsft and downloaded IE7!
What Browser did you use to get to Microsoft?
You'd uninstalled IE8!
 
I know that idiot; but, he does not mention firefox, or opera!
He is the OP, and HE has to give ALL info, NOT have you are I guess it!
