Internet Explorer 7 web history disappeared

Hi Everyone

My Internet Explorer 7 web history suddenly disappeare.

I would like to know:

1) Why this would happen (to avoid in future)

2) If I can recover it all in some way

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me please.

Oh by the way, should I be seeking help on a different group or something to
