internet explorer 7 (the tabs)

When I open my home page the tabs are there for me to click on and they then
open instantly. However when i am using any of the tabs or home page, if I
wish to turn off just one I get a drop down window asking if I want to turn
off all of my tabs, which I do not however if I say cancel then the site
stays on and if I click on yes then internet explorer turns off all the
tabs. How do I just turn off one tab or two but not all?
 
yes there should be an "x" with each tab, however there is only one on my
screen and when I click on it it closes all of the tabs!

I'm afraid you've landed in the wrong group. This one's full to the gills with
PowerPoint people. You need a group devoted to MSIE7.

But try rightclicking the tab you want to close; choose close from the popup.
Seems to work.
