I've just checked out the site in IE7 after Mucks said there were a few problems with it, and it looks like it's going to be one heck of a problem to fix

Can anyone else using IE7 confirm any bugs that they see (as opposed to IE6/FF).

The rendering problems that I can see are the left/right menus not having a full blue bar to the bottom of the page, and also the two boxes at the top of the main page are strange sizes.

No need to fix what ain't broken ... has IE ever conformed to 'stds' ?

Just put a page up ... best use a proper browser & "get Firefox".

oh, and yes ... I can confirm that what you don't see is true ... also the copyright is over to the left & not centred. :)

Mouse-over the dropdown menues ... Home, Reviews etc ... do they stay put, or go away, min stay put and I cannot see what I'm writing now.

Ah, I have solved one problem ... google toolbar stops the right-click from working in IE7 ... oh dear, this is bad.

Bugger this, I'm going back to FF

:D

You're right - if I click at all before I use the menus then it messes it up! Oh dear, I'll need to fix this ASAP.

Oh goody, I never did like them mouse-over-drop-down-everytime I move my mouse menues. :p

Use a 'script' to see what browser people are using then re-direct them to This site If they are using IE7 :thumb:

Try pressing CTRL+F5 and it should load the new CSS files, that kind-of fix some of the problems. I'm still working on the menu to try and solve that :)

I think that the menu should be fixed now... I think? :)

Oh I say ... well done, all fixed here too.

Is IE7 still in Beta mode?
Or has it gone fully operational?
Vista, which comes with IE7 is still beta ... not sure about IE7+ for XP or other OSs

I'll stick with Firefox, but you still need IE to go to MSs OS/Office update sites.

I use IE6 about 60% and Firefox 40% of the time.
And it was you who got me to change over:thumb:

Gordon Bennet what a pile of crap

I just tried this and it kept crashing all the time, only a reboot would enable use again and then it would only let me view about three sites before crashing again.

And the layout is awful, how they thought this was an improvement is beyond me.

Have uninstalled now. It made Opera look professional :D

I actually quite like Explorer 6, so me back to that :) (stop laughing at the back of the class there).

If this is typical of Vista, I despair.
