Internet Explorer 7 installation problems

I have two computers on which I updated to IE7.0.5730.11. On one it works
fine. On the other, it looks completely different, mouse commands don't work,
tabbed browsing doesn't work, web sites don't load properly and I can't
manuever around them when they do open, internet options changes don't take,
and probably many other problems I haven't figured out yet. I thought I would
uninstall it and reinstall, but it doesn't show up in Add/Remove Programs and
didn't show up when I did a search for all files and folders. I did find a
listing for IE6 there, but can't find that anywhere else. Can anyone help me
fix this thing? Thanks.

Try going back to Add/Remove Programs and check the Show Updates box.
You should then see IE7 and be able to
remove it.

When you get IE7 uninstalled, don't allow Windows Update to reinstall it.
